Welcome to Reachiko. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are the agreement between you and SCIÉNTIO laboratories, spol. s r.o., the company that runs Reachiko (“we”, “us”). They apply whenever you use Reachiko, the app and the website at reachiko.com, with or without an account.
Please read them. They explain what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. Our Community Guidelines are part of these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data.
1. Who we are
Reachiko is operated by:
SCIÉNTIO laboratories, spol. s r.o.

Email: support@reachiko.com
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are younger, please don’t create an account.
You must not be barred from using Reachiko by law, or by an earlier decision of ours to close your account.
If you use Reachiko for a business or organisation, you confirm that you may accept these Terms on its behalf.
3. Your account
Joining. You can join with Google, Apple, Facebook, or your email address and a one-time code. If you join with another service, it gives us your name and email address. We never import your followers or friends: everyone starts equal.
One person, one account. Your account is personal. Don’t share, sell or transfer it, and don’t create more than one. Reach has to come from real people watching.
True details. Your country and city decide where your moments start (section 5), so tell us where you really are. You may use a nickname, but not someone else’s identity.
Security. Keep your email and the account you sign in with safe. Tell us at support@reachiko.com if you think someone else has used your account.
You are responsible for what happens on your account, unless it happens through our fault.
4. Watching as a guest
You can watch without an account. A moment you watch to the end counts for its creator like any other view. The reach you earn as a guest is kept on your device for 7 days; if you join within that time, it comes with you. Guests can’t post, comment, like, follow, pass moments on or send messages.
5. How Reachiko works
This section explains how we decide what you see and who sees your moments. It is the heart of Reachiko, so we keep it simple and open.
5.1 Reach
Every moment you watch to the end earns you 1 reach. Moments you skip don’t count.
When you post, your moment is shown to at least as many people as the reach you have at that time, as long as enough people are watching Reachiko and your moment follows these Terms. Each view uses 1 of your reach.
Reach lasts 7 days.
When someone passes your moment on, more people see it without using your reach.
Lift lets you give some of your reach to a family member’s moment.
Reach is not money. It has no monetary value. It can’t be bought, sold or exchanged, and it can only be passed to someone else with Lift. We may correct reach gained through a technical error or in breach of these Terms (for example with bots or multiple accounts).
5.2 Posting
Before you post, you watch at least 3 people’s moments that day. Everyone who posts has seen others first.
You can post one moment a day. Videos can be up to 30 seconds long.
Your moment is shown in other people’s feeds for 3 days. It stays on your profile until you delete it.
5.3 What you see: our recommender system
Reachiko shows moments in a fair queue. These are its main parameters:
Fair turns. People who watch others get their turn to be seen. Nobody can pay to be shown more.
Your hobbies. Moments whose #tags match your hobbies come first, then related topics. You choose your hobbies and can change them at any time in your profile.
People you follow. Their moments make up at most about 1 in 4 of what you watch, so everyone else still gets a turn.
Discoveries. Moments that many people passed on, and moments from people whose reach runs out that day, can be shown even if they don’t match your hobbies.
Distance. A moment starts with people in the creator’s country. When people pass it on, it travels to their region and then to all of Europe.
Languages. We prefer moments in the languages you told us you understand.
Every moment shows a short reason why you are seeing it, such as “Because you like #music” or “Passed on by 12 people”. We don’t build advertising profiles, and we don’t rank moments by how long they keep you scrolling. You can change the parameters you control (hobbies, languages and who you follow) at any time.
5.4 No filler
We never fill your feed with repeats or filler. When you have seen every moment that is waiting for you, Reachiko tells you.
5.5 Adjusting the numbers
To keep Reachiko fair as it grows, we may adjust the numbers in this section, such as how many moments you watch before posting or how long reach lasts. If a change matters to you, we tell you in advance (section 15).
6. Your content
“Content” means everything you post or send on Reachiko: moments (videos and photos), their sound, titles, descriptions and #tags, your comments and messages, and your name and profile.
6.1 You own it
You keep all the rights you have in your content. We don’t claim ownership of it.
6.2 You allow us to show it
So that we can run Reachiko, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, adapt (for example compress, resize or crop it, or make previews), display, distribute and make your content available on Reachiko, in the ways its features allow. For example, we show your moment to viewers, let people pass it on, and let them share a link to it. Our service providers, such as our hosting provider, may use your content only to help us run Reachiko.
This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for:
copies in backups, which are deleted within 30 days;
content we must keep by law, or to deal with a report, a dispute or a legal claim.
We don’t use your content to advertise Reachiko outside the app without asking you first. We don’t sell your content, and we don’t use it to train artificial intelligence models.
6.3 Your promises about your content
You created your content, or you have every right and permission needed to post it. This includes music and sounds, images, and the image and voice of every person who can be recognised in it.
Your content follows these Terms, our Community Guidelines and the law.
Music. Reachiko has no music licences. Use only sounds you made yourself, music you have permission to use, or music that is free to use. We may mute or remove content when a rights holder reports it.
6.4 Other people’s content
Content on Reachiko is the responsibility of the person who posted it. We don’t check content before it is published. We act on reports and may use automated tools to detect clearly illegal content (section 8). If you see something wrong, please report it.
use bots, scripts or other automated means to watch, post, like, pass on, follow or create accounts, or to collect content or data from Reachiko;
create several accounts, or use other people’s accounts, to collect reach;
buy, sell, rent or trade accounts, reach, views, passes or follows;
get around limits or the fair queue, or exploit errors (please report them to us instead);
interfere with or harm Reachiko, its security or its users, for example with malware, by overloading it, or by testing it for weaknesses without our permission;
collect other users’ personal data, or contact them for purposes they didn’t agree to, such as advertising;
copy, modify, sell or reverse-engineer Reachiko’s software, except where the law allows it;
use Reachiko for anything illegal.
8. Content moderation
8.1 How we find content that breaks the rules
Reports. Anyone can report content or accounts, with or without an account (section 9).
Automated tools. We may use tools that detect clearly illegal content (for example by matching against databases of known child sexual abuse material), spam and bot activity.
People. Decisions to remove content or restrict accounts are made or checked by a person. The exceptions are obvious spam, and matches with known illegal material.
8.2 What we may do
Depending on how serious and how frequent a problem is, we may:
remove content, or make it visible only to the person who posted it;
limit how far a moment travels, or stop showing it to people who don’t follow its creator;
add a warning to content;
restrict features for a while, such as posting, commenting or messaging;
suspend or close an account.
We act in a timely, careful, objective and proportionate way, with due regard for the rights of everyone involved, including freedom of expression. Closing an account is a last resort for serious or repeated breaches.
8.3 We tell you why
When we restrict your content or your account, we tell you what we did and for how long, the facts and reasons behind it, whether automated tools were involved, which rule or law it is based on, and how you can appeal. The only exceptions are when the law doesn’t allow it, or for spam.
8.4 Serious crimes
If we become aware of information that suggests a criminal offence threatening someone’s life or safety has taken place, is taking place or is likely to take place, we inform the competent authorities. We report child sexual abuse material to the authorities.
8.5 Misuse
After a warning, we may suspend for a reasonable time accounts that frequently post clearly illegal content. Likewise, we may suspend for a reasonable time the handling of reports from people who frequently send clearly unfounded reports.
9. Reporting content
Report content or accounts with Report in the app, or by email to support@reachiko.com. To help us act quickly, please include:
the link to the content, or a precise description of where it is;
why you believe it is illegal or breaks our rules (for illegal content, which law, if you know);
your name and email address (not needed if you report child sexual abuse material);
a statement that you believe, in good faith, that the information in your report is accurate and complete.
We confirm that we received your report, review it carefully and objectively, and tell you what we decided and how you can challenge the decision. We don’t tell the person you reported who reported them, unless the law requires it.
Copyright and other rights. If you believe content infringes your copyright or other rights, report it the same way. Tell us which work or right is affected, and confirm that you hold the right or may act for the person who does.
10. Appeals and disputes
If we removed or restricted your content or account, or if we didn’t act on your report, you can appeal within 6 months. Reply to our decision, or email support@reachiko.com. Appeals are free. A person who wasn’t involved in the original decision reviews your appeal, and if our decision was wrong, we reverse it without undue delay.
You can also turn to an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under the EU Digital Services Act. The European Commission publishes a list of them. You can always go to court as well.
11. Messages
Messages are private between you and the people you write to. They are encrypted on the way, but not end-to-end encrypted. We look at messages only when someone reports them, when it is necessary to protect someone’s safety or the security of Reachiko, or when the law requires it. You can block anyone, and they can no longer message you.
12. Our rights in Reachiko
Reachiko, its name, logo, design and software belong to us or to the people who license them to us. These Terms give you no rights in them, other than to use Reachiko as intended. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, without any obligation to you.
13. Availability and changes to Reachiko
We work to keep Reachiko available and secure, but we can’t promise that it will always work without interruptions or errors. We may change, add or remove features. If a change significantly limits how you can use Reachiko, we tell you in advance, and you can delete your account if you don’t agree.
Reachiko is free. If we ever offer something paid, it will be optional, and we will tell you the price and conditions before you pay. Reach will never be for sale.
14. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Reachiko at any time and delete your account in your profile, or by emailing us. Your moments, comments and messages are then deleted as described in our Privacy Policy. Before you delete your account, you can download a copy of your data.
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or if the law requires it. We tell you why and how to appeal (sections 8.3 and 10), unless the law doesn’t allow it.
If we ever stop running Reachiko, we tell you at least 30 days in advance, so that you have time to download your data.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when we change Reachiko, when the law changes, or to make them clearer. If a change affects you, we tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before it applies. The exceptions are changes required by law at shorter notice, and changes needed urgently to prevent misuse. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account before the change applies. If you continue to use Reachiko after that, the new Terms apply.
16. Liability
We are responsible for damage we cause by breaching these Terms or the law, according to the applicable law.
We are not responsible for content posted by others, provided that we act quickly once we learn that it is illegal, as the law provides for hosting services.
We are not responsible for events beyond our reasonable control, to the extent the law allows.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
17. Applicable law and courts
These Terms are governed by Slovak law. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country.
You can bring a claim against us before the courts of Slovakia or of the EU country where you live.
If you are a consumer and we couldn’t resolve your complaint, you can turn to an alternative dispute resolution body. In Slovakia, this is the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia, www.soi.sk) or another body on the list kept by the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic. For decisions about content and accounts, see section 10.
18. Contact
Questions, reports and appeals: support@reachiko.com, or in the app. This is also our point of contact for users under Article 12 of the Digital Services Act. We answer in English or Slovak, and do our best in the other languages Reachiko is available in.
Authorities (point of contact under Article 11 of the Digital Services Act): legal@reachiko.com, in Slovak or English.
19. Final provisions
If part of these Terms is invalid, the rest still applies.
If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we don’t give it up.
We may transfer this agreement to another company if Reachiko or our business is merged or sold. We will tell you in advance, and your rights under these Terms stay the same.
These Terms are available in several languages. The English version is the original. If a translation differs, the English version applies, unless the law of your country provides otherwise.
