Community Guidelines
Last updated: 5 October 2026
Reachiko is built on a simple idea: everyone gets seen, fairly. That only works if moments are real and people treat each other well. These guidelines say what isn’t allowed. They apply to everything on Reachiko: moments, sounds, titles, descriptions, #tags, comments, messages and profiles. They are part of our Terms of Service.
Be real
- Post moments you made, or that you have the right to share.
- Be yourself. Don’t pretend to be another person, a brand or an organisation. Fan and parody accounts must say so clearly.
- No fake activity. That means no bots and no extra accounts. Don’t buy, sell or trade views, reach, passes, follows or accounts.
- No spam: no repetitive or misleading moments, comments or messages, chain messages, or deceptive links.
Be kind
- No bullying or harassment: no insults, humiliation, threats or unwanted sexual remarks, and don’t encourage others to target someone.
- No hate: no attacks on people because of their race, ethnic origin, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, serious illness or similar characteristics. No symbols or propaganda of hate groups.
- Respect privacy: don’t share other people’s private information, such as addresses, phone numbers, documents or private messages. Don’t film people in private situations without their consent. Never share intimate images of anyone without their consent.
Keep it safe
- No violence or threats: nothing that threatens, incites or glorifies violence, and no graphic violence or gore to shock. News and documentary moments need context.
- No terrorism or violent extremism: no support, praise or propaganda for terrorist or violent extremist organisations or attacks.
- No dangerous acts: no challenges, stunts or instructions that could seriously hurt you or others.
- Suicide, self-harm and eating disorders: nothing that promotes or encourages them. Sharing your own experience to find support or help others is fine, without graphic detail. If you are in crisis, call 112 or a local helpline.
- No illegal goods or services: no selling or promoting drugs, weapons, explosives, counterfeit goods or anything else that is illegal to trade.
- No scams or fraud: no phishing, fake giveaways, pyramid schemes or other attempts to trick people out of money or data.
No adult content
- No nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit or suggestive content, and no offers of sexual services.
- Swimwear, sport and breastfeeding are fine, as long as they aren’t sexualised.
Protect children
- Zero tolerance for anything that sexualises minors. We remove it, close the account and report it to the authorities.
- Be careful with children in your moments. Never show them in a sexualised or humiliating way, and don’t reveal where they live or go to school.
- Never contact young people to groom, pressure or exploit them.
Be honest
- No harmful false information: nothing that could cause real harm, such as dangerous health claims or false information about how, when or where to vote.
- No deceptive edited or AI-made media: don’t post edited or AI-generated images, video or sound of real people or events that are meant to mislead. If you use AI to make something realistic, say so (for example with #ai).
Respect other people’s work
- Use only music, video, images and other material that you made or have permission to use. Reachiko has no music licences.
- Don’t use brands or trademarks in a way that makes people think you are someone you’re not.
Ads and sponsored moments
You can show your work or your business. If you are paid, or get something in return, for showing a product or brand, say so clearly in your moment (for example #ad). Reachiko itself never takes money to show moments to more people.
When rules are broken
Depending on how serious and how frequent it is, we may:
- remove a moment, or keep it close to home;
- give a warning;
- restrict posting, commenting or messaging for a while;
- suspend or close the account.
The most serious breaches lead to immediate account closure and may be reported to the authorities. Examples are child sexual abuse material, credible threats and terrorism. We always tell you what we did and why, and you can appeal (Terms of Service, sections 8 to 10).
See something wrong?
Use Report in the app, or email support@reachiko.com. We don’t tell the person you reported who reported them. If someone is in immediate danger, call the emergency number 112.
